Ms. Amy Ewaldt has a Master of Arts in Teaching with K-9 licensure, and has been working with students, families, and teachers for over twenty years.  In addition to teacher training, teacher mentoring, and working in Columbia College Chicago's Early Childhood Department, Ms. Amy was the founder of Cortland Preschool Chicago. Amy has been fortunate to train at the Loris Malaguzzi Centre / Reggio Children as a professor and as a part of an in-depth study group. On the weekend, you can find SIEF’s happy Director working in the garden, writing, dancing, laughing, and learning anything and everything.
